Bake & Taste for Apple II, MS-DOS and Mac request
Hello. I'm looking for a baking/cooking game for Apple II, MS-DOS, and Macintosh computers if you are interested. This game is called "Bake & Taste", released in 1984. I used to play this game on Apple II when I was in Middle School's Special Ed. This game is where you have 20 game minutes to create a food dish (usually desserts) that the taste-testers would like (depending on the level of difficulty, either Cook, Chef, or Master Chef), using many printable recipes, selectable teaspoon/tablespoon measurers, cup measurers, eggs, pan shapes, and oven. BTW, the only printable recipe I have from the game is:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup shortening
1 teaspoon vanilla
Measure flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt, buttermilk, shortening,
Mix at low speed for 1 minute.
Mix at high speed for 3 minutes.
Pour into rectangular pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
There are other printable recipes in the game too. The summary says it all in these links here: http://www.abledata.com/product/bake-tastehttp://www.worldcat.org/title/bake-taste/oclc/19769592
BTW, the problem is that this Apple II game is very rare, so rare that it's hard to find nowadays. If you happen to find the game or have it, can you upload it into the "Apple II Library:Games" and/or the "Software Library: MS-DOS Games" pages if you get a chance? Thank you.
